Schedule
Creation & Performance Students are in both shows, all other students are in 1 show. Listed times are when students should be ready to dance, please arrive early & in costume for both dress rehearsal & performance
Show 1 -Assiginack Arena
Manitowaning dancers and ALL Creation & Performance students
Dress Rehearsal - June 1
Time: 5:30pm-8pm
Show - June 2
Location: Assiginack Arena
5:30pm: Dancer Warmup (ages 6+)
6pm: Creative Movement drop-off and warmup
6:30pm: Showtime
Show 2 - Manitoulin Secondary School
Mindemoya & Little Current Dancers and ALL Creation & Performance students
Dress Rehearsal - June 3
10:30am-1pm - general dress rehearsal
12-1pm - Creative Movement classes join dress rehearsal
Show - June 3
2pm: Dancer Warmup (ages 6+)
2:30pm: Creative Movement drop-off and warmup
3pm: Showtime
Costumes
Dancers will be given props and/or costume pieces to wear at the performance. All props and costume pieces must be returned at the end of the show to be used for future performances.
Students are asked to dress in specific colours to reflect the theme of their dances. This clothing does not need to be dance-specific. Just comfortable to move in. We do not want families to have to buy clothing for the show, unless you personally choose to, so use what you have on hand. Please no logos or words on clothing. Hair
Dancers are asked to come with their hair securely off their face in a ponytail or bun.
Makeup
No makeup is required but, if wanted, the following can be worn:
- a lipstick 1-2 shades darker than the natural lip colour
- light pink blush on the cheeks
- dark brown or black mascara
Tickets
Tickets are $5 at the door payable in cash or e-transfer. Attendance is free for ages 12 & under.
The performance is open to the public - invite your family and friends!
Photo Packages
Receive 10 digital photos of your child dancing with their friends during dress rehearsal with a mix of posed and candid shots.
Professional photography is being provided by J. Casson Photos and Cedar Grace Photography.
Price
$20 per student
$10 for extra child in same family
Payment must be made before dress rehearsal. Packages purchased after the show are an extra $5 per child.

Flowers
Carnations will be available for purchase at the door for $6 for 2 or $10 for 4. All proceeds from flower sales go towards our performance fund.
